ONLINE FIDDLE WORKSHOPS
Group workshops take place over Zoom every week on Saturday afternoons from 3pm and Wednesday evenings from 7pm (times shown are in the UK - don't forget to convert them for your timezone!)
Affordably priced at just £8GBP (approx $11USD), each one lasts an hour and each week I spend some time teaching new material, some time revisiting tunes we have already learned previously and some time looking at more advanced techniques, and giving you my top tips to help you improve your playing.
My teaching repertoire embraces the fiddle music of Orkney, including some of my own compositions, plus the traditional music of Scotland and around the world.
Joining is simple – the 'book a zoom workshop now' button below will take you to my online booking page. If you are unsure which workshop would best suit your current ability then please get in touch with me by email on mail@jenniferwrigley.com and I will be happy to guide you.
Once you have paid to attend your first workshop you will be emailed joining instructions. After that, if you wish to attend again, there is no need to re-book - you can use the same meeting code and ‘pay as you go’ for each workshop you attend. At this time, there is no additional subscription fee or any obligation to attend regularly. Many of my regular students come to more than 1 workshop each week and some folk just come along once in a while when they feel like it.
Prior to your first workshop, supporting material i.e. sheet music and recordings, will be made available to you to view and download and you will be invited to join my private Facebook group. At the end of each session notes are emailed out everyone to remind you what we worked on and what we will looking at the following week.
The emphasis is on having fun and you will never be singled out to play in front of everyone else in the group, the most you’ll be asked is how you got on with a particular tune or section, and if you’re uncomfortable with that just let me know in advance and I’ll not come to you in the meeting.
I look forward to seeing you there! - Happy fiddling,
Jenny.
